Ultranav driver is not installed

I have some new HP laptop models coming in this week that im sure will need the new synaptics touchpad driver. Can you confirm which install command and method that you used to get the touchpad driver and app installed in the end? I have wrestled with this touchpad driver thing for far too long. The previous version that I had been installing v In the end, I went to the synaptics site and downloaded the latest driver as mentioned by Chase Ver I had success with -.

Thanks Chase for your help on this one. I will be sure to seek out those. As you can see, I did try all those switches including logging in my tests as well. Although it didn't work for my case, I have seen this be the issue many times with InstallShield i think installers. If you run the command line without logging as an Administrative user the programs typically work for me.

But run them through SCCM and they need the log location. It was just a bad driver version from Lenovo in my case. Hopefully your information can help some other forum goers. Hi Ciao, It is still doing it after following your advice. I have attached a screen shot of my devices, and I appear to have two devices attached. What should I try next? Thanks Mark Hi, MarkBachelor! Hi Ciao, Please would you advise the correct way to uninstall the drivers.

I have done it two ways, 1 go to Device Manager, uninstall the device, and include deleting the driver software 2 go to Apps and delete it from there although the driver size is only reported to be 24Kb and not the 1. Which is correct? Thanks Mark. Both are correct, but I meant the 1st way. Couldn't these steps fix the issue?

Hi Ciao, Well, when I uninstall using the first method and reboot as requested by Windows , when it restarts, the Touchpad is back in Device Manager, and it appears to still have the same driver version
